THE
2011-2012 FRED TRAVALENA SCHOLARSHIP WILL
BE GIVEN TO A HIGH SCHOOL ACTRESS, NOVEMBER 13TH at Ruth Eckerd
Hall Performing Arts Theater, 2:00pm @1111 McMullen Booth Road,
Clearwater, FL33759 (727) 791-7060
This
will be the second Scholarship given in memory of Fred Travalena,
not only to a teen with talents in the ‘arts’, but also is a
child of a military family. With Fred Travalena’s love for his
country, and a veteran, it only seemed appropriate that a young
person with their whole talented future ahead of them and being
within the military world, should be chosen for this honor.
Many
friends, family, and fans have donated to this cause in the
past two years....and because of that, we are able to continue
this scholarship in Fred’s memory. We hope you will continue
to give.
With
this being Veterans Day Weekend, the people at Ruth Eckerd Hall
decided to put this Tribute/Show together with over 100 voices/
4 different local choirs singing Fred Travalena’s ‘SPIRIT OF
AMERICA’, along with a lot of other entertainment.
Cory
Travalena will be present to give the Scholarship this year.
